In the wake of several disconcerting incidents involving Muggle students and families participating in the exchange programme between Hogwarts and Muggle school St. Amphibalus in St. Alban, Hertfordshire, Hogwarts has decided to end the programme immediately for reasons of safety.  It is unclear at this time whether the programme will resume next year. First of all, I apologize for not being around and my part in allowing MiMC to lapse.  Things were going on in my life – personal and professional – that made me withdraw from a lot of activities, including our role play here.

I’ve missed all of you and the game and would be interested in reviving MiMC, if any of you are interested, too.  Hopefully, most of you still receive notices when posts are made and will see this.  Let me know what you think.  Shall we?

Starting in Fall 2003, Hogwarts School will expand its curriculum in Muggle Studies to give students a more in depth understanding of non-magical society.  Additional faculty have been hired to broaden the range of available course topics, and an optional study abroad component has been added for students who wish to experience and be fully immersed in the Muggle lifestyle.
