Although Ministry officials will provide no details at this time, the Auror Office has confirmed the recent murder of a British wizard.  According to one of the Aurors on the scene who asked to remain anonymous, the wizard was attacked by several Death Eaters at a Muggle café he was patronizing with a Muggle coworker.  Further, the anonymous Auror claims the murdered wizard was wanted criminal Harrison Byrne, a fact not confirmed by the Ministry, and that at least one attacker, not yet identified, was killed. A recent article from the Daily Prophet and its reporter Rita Skeeter, stated that Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt was in  violation of his oath as Minister of Magic. The article brought about accusations that the Minister has been shirking on his duties and responsibilities and has gone on vacation with his wife leaving the Magical World vulnerable.

These rumors are of course not true.
